fanny's 'princess-like' holiday in bkk shopping paradise

YEAH!! i finally got to enjoy my bkk shopping spree! bangkok is really a shopping paradise.. singapore retailers shd learn frm them! sell their things as cheap as them..haha then i can save the air tix to bkk..hee



and aft such a long time i finally completed the compilation of pics! lazy me just used convenient picasa and stacked everything up together..heh save time and space..






i shd be finishing my proj now and studying for my test.. but..tk a break for a while..hee just come back from sch and still in the sleepy mood.. looking at all these pics can really perk me up! bt make me feel like sneaking back to bangkok..ahha







I must really compliment them for their friendliness and courtesy! A*** for that!! and i nv failed in bargaining..haha ok..i must also admit that i didnt try to bargain a lot..hehe i just wanna get the desirable price i want then i will stop.. bt they work in a way that the more things you buy, they will sell u at their wholesale price.. and their wholesale price is already so cheap! and their things are so tempting to grab! what more can i ask for? =p



i went to MBK, platinum mall, pratunum market, central world plaza, tokyo departmental store and isetan..OH my favourite is BIGC!!




BIGC is this megastore nxt to my hotel and is so convenient to walk across.. they sell so many things! from food to daily products to shoes and clothes! I purchased 7 pairs of shoes from there!! price ranging from $4-$8!! and bought 2 pairs of pretty shorts and a long sleeve top from there!







Platinum mall is my 2nd favourite!! I bought most of my stuffs from there..heh purchased 2 pairs of shoes and my 12 pairs of shorts from there!! also 3 of my bags and 10 necklaces! i really shopped till i nearly dropped dead.. imagine a shoppaholic like me giving up shopping the last 2 levels and searching frantically for dad and mum to rest! haha thinking back..i kinda regretted!!haha




MBK is a cool place too..bought 3 bags from there and 4 tees for myself cousins and friends! and 3 belts.. i really lost count of what i had purchased and where i got it from. this shopping experience is freaking enjoyable and desirable!!



i wanna shop like a princess at bkk again!! but my nxt destination is KOREA!! yay~ with lili, ling and min! i'm saving up to proceed with my travel plans! maybe i can see ji jin hee there..hehe heard from ling that the accessories are cheap there..maybe the clothes too?? i wanna go massage! and sauna~






















OH..a few regrets from bkk trip..

4. nv visit khao san night market
5. nv spend my last 120baht!!

BUT..a very very refreshing and princess-like feeling during the trip! i super heart it~



eh a teeny weeny bit of uneasy feeling about the hotel though.. being more paranoid..i thought there was mok mok.. on the 1st night..kept hearing the door bell but no1 was at the door..even aft jeremy opened the door..there was no1 at the corridor..and the phone nxt door kept ringing..and what's worse was our room is interconnected with the nxt room!=X



okok..forget abt the scary and unhappy parts..stock check now!!

Lastly..i super love the scenery when you are on the plane and u look down and out of the window..


But the new airport sucks..our plane was delayed for 45 minutes..and they kept making us walk all around the airport and send us back to where we walked from in the end..waste our energy and time! and the concept is totally similar to singapore! just that singapore is much cooler, looks more grand, is more pro, more efficient, more places to eat, unlike them..only 1 eating outlet with everything sold out!

Eh but bkk has got cute cabs.. so colourful and pretty! singapore can adopt the idea and paint their cabs with brighter and more cheerful colours!

ok..study for now.. i really dread studying.. let's hope i graduate asap and get a v.high paid job! yayy!! ahha

today is such a happy day!
i finally met up with shirl, martin, jinrui and jinxian!! too bad elaine couldn't join us:(
really calls for a celebration!

we tried to arrange so many lunch dates!!
bt its either timetable clash or i'm nt in sch..(most of the time i'm nt in sch=p)
lunch was really great today! had great chats and as usual shirl and i like to make fun of jx and jr..occasionally martin will join in..haha we love to sow discord and make the guys "kiss" hee and we are so experienced that we succeed almost everytime! hope to have more lunches like this coming up soon again!yay~

talking about cousins..i really really love my cousins a lot. Went to visit baby Joie again! on sat..jeremy's suggestion..coz he has not seen her in person before! WHY? coz he's such a lazy fellow!!mum couldn't wake him up that sunday when we agreed to visit her and jan. anyway.. met lili there too and i saw ling aft like a month or more.. really missed her!

actually i suddenly recalled..i met her when i visited joie tt day..ahha anyway..lili and ling wanted to go out..just to walk around to relax and take a breather frm stressful sch work..ling is having her prelims now. ( though it really doesn't seem like it) i hafta keep reminding myself i cannot date her.haha i, being so thick skin die die also wanna squueze in and join them!haha (i'm the 3rd party!) how can i be left out rite!haha i m sure i was the fun factor!=p

anyway..i was so mean..i forced them to go j8..when they wanted to go far east..haha coz i was in KR sleeveless tee and FBT shorts! and slippers.. and i was in specs..no $$ no ezlink card! all i had with me was my phone! being such sweet cousins, they compromised of coz! hee

we walked ard in j8 for a really short while..then lili was hungry so she went to secret recipe to grab a bite! me and ling drank mineral water..i thought secret recipe is nt pro=x they dun serve ice water..and their soba..according to an experienced gourmet, can actually be prepared at home with..no sweat! so..eh..i shall not say anything more!=p

nice sat outing and nice dinner @ thong yi house!too bad ling couldn't join us! anyway mj and kbox-ing on thur yup!!looking forward to it dearie!!yeah~

i went to kbox at choa chu kang with huini on wednesday!!

we really sang to our hearts' content!!sang till we drop dead...till we were competing who is a greater fan of the singer..i chose "wang jie" and she has no creativity..chose "jeff zhang"

and i realised my appetite is growing ferociously!! i had A BOX of coco crunch for bfast today! i told myself it's healthy food coz its cereal..to console myself..i really muz stop bingeing..oh no..for the past few weeks..i had been like tt..or issit the past few months..or past few years??i shd have a change in diet..yup!=)

and i'm starting to get worried abt my future..looking at my torn and tattered result slip..future looks bleak..i think....i hafta start making more friends!haha be connected somehow in any way will do..wah..i sound so slack and cunning..haha

anyway..i'm all excited abt entering the social university! start working..a total change in lifestyle..able to spend the $$ i earned..sense of achievement! learning to be real independent on myself! looking forward to it~

jeremy's dead asleep behind me..and i am so influenced by him that i feel so sleepy suddenly too..it's 1240am now..and i gotta wake up at645 tmr!!!my precious sleep!!

yay!! i went to visit my dearest baby joie again! this time round i got to play with her but i still dun have the courage to carry her. she is so soft and small that i m scared that i will crush her with my clumsy limbs. i was told her forehead is still soft and i can't stroke it coz the shape is not fixed yet and it's quite vulnerable still.

this time round..i captured nicer shots!! and i made a new discovery that baby joie likes to pose! she has so many different poses when she is sleeping. but her favourite pose is the "surrender" pose!!haha so cute~

and she likes to smile in the sleep..but i also witnessed her crying and throwing tantrums moments on sunday. poor her always cry when she was shitting.. and we discovered that it was because she felt so uncomfortable and insecure on the bed when she changes her napkins and diapers.



it's so noisy and joie has to cover her ears to slp in peace..

but the noise level keep going up and she tried to strike different creative poses to distract us

but we didnt fall for it and joie started to feel tired..so she "surrendered" in the end! ahhaa

covering her ears is still the best choice!=p

she loves to be cuddled and feel warm! she is really cute coz she likes to give very blur and innocent looks..heh and she is a kaypo!haha likes to look around and steal glances at pple =)

I think mothers are the bravest and most patient and most tolerating souls in the world! it's really tough to bear a child. I can never relate totally to a mum. Just by witnessing and listening to their experiences through the 9 months and after child birth..I really must SALUTE them!!

I knew child birth was tough..but the aftermath is going to be worse i think.. I interviewed Jan about the whole process and I am really so touched by what she has said.

fanny: "Is it very pain? but since you are on anaesthesia how do you push when told?"

jan: hmm the last hour when i was going to give birth and needed to push the anaesthetic dosage will be cut and you will feel the pain and that is when you push. It's really pain when there is no anaethesia. But when you see your baby born and when the nurse let you carry her, the pain is just gone. I was so tired after that and when the doctor was doing the stitches i didnt even feel it."


Jan is really a great mother! the amt of courage she has is really 100000000000000X mine. She is like so tired everyday now. She has to take care of her baby, wake up in the middle of the night to feed her when she is so weak. Her feet are pain and she cant bathe in water. cant drink plain water. there are so many restrictions.

such a picky person like ME will just whine throughout the confinement month..haha I feel like a timd tortise..haha although you will feel so much joy and happiness the minute your baby is born, but timid me is just too sensitive to pain. the thought of PAIN just kills me.

GOODNESS!! how can any1 not feel pain during stitches..that shows how much a baby mean to a mother. I was trying to imagine myself as a mother..i just can't.

I don't think i have enough courage to be pregnant and go through the 9 months of morning sickness + vomit + leg cramps in the middle of the night + change in appetite + lots of other changes. And after the 9 months endure the pain of childbirth and after the childbirth endure having a bloated stomach filled with air ( when i already has such a big tummy=x), and not being able to bathe for a month.

fanny just need more trainings and need to endure more obstacles and difficulties to grow stronger and tougher! starting with being more disciplined and doing regular readings! so far no dozing off during lectures this sem..so it's a good start! =)

i'm an auntie once again!!yoohoooo~ i'm all excited this time round! my sweetie niece joie tan jia en arrived on sept 5th'06..such a coincidence!it's the same day as her parents' wedding anniversary..yay!the nxt time round they can celebrate everything althogether!

it's really amazing to look at new born babies..especially when she is soo cute! i've always wished that jan's baby is a girl and my wish came true!!she's a pretty cute princess~ really loved lokking at her..even when she's sleeping..she smiles!how sweet..she feels quite mischievous..haha i caught her stealing glances at me and sian when she was supposed to be asleep..and i caught her pretending to be asleep..well..maybe i think too much!haha

she fascinated me in all ways..it's really cool to look like so many of your family members..jeremy thought she looked like her grandfather..i thought some angles of her looked like sian..the first time i saw her i thought her "ren zhong" and mouth looked like jan..and eyes like soon meng..but the nxt day when i when to see her again at home..she looked different again..choo yi said when she was just born, she was very fair and has "gua zi lian" and rosy cheeks...looked exactly like jan! sounds cute..hee but she seems to have become tanner.. her skin is soo smooth and flawless..and her hair is soft as the softest cushion!haha how apt a description..

i took a few shots of her..but most of them are her sleeping poses..she loves sleeping..she can even doze off when she was drinking milk..so funny!

sleepy morning in schoooooool

I'm sleepy...had 8am tutorial today..i wanted to act pro and told daddy that i will go to school myself today..but guess wad..i woke up at 630am when i set my alarm at 530am..how prompt i am uh..and dad just predicted this would happen and woke up early with mum to send me to sch!

and tutorial was kinda fun..not as boring and dry coz the tutor is NOT john ang!!yyaaayyy!!! it was this lady from feiyue centre @ yew tee..had a good laugh. we played this auction game whereby every1 started off having $50,000 each (how nice if i really have $50,000=p) and we have this list of things that we can bid for. i m pro! i used $26.5K and bidded to do my parents proud!!and i spent merely $5K to bid to be the richest!!haha and fanny is the only smartie pants who successfully bidded for 2 items on the list..most the rest either got outbidded or showhanded for 1..i was greedy..i wanted to bid for fun-filling moments in life, good health, successful career, marital bliss, take good care of her children and much more!haha the irony is here..since i have already bidded to be the richest..i could jolly well have everything!!heeee


anyway, went for my desired mac bfast with elaine=)

we happily skipped geo lect..i guess its a norm already..haha BUT i being very hardworking now will watch webcast..i will try very very hard to! anyway..had a mini chat at macs and wow..i suddenly feel so old..things have changed...

fanny is now a $$$$$$ minded person!

my amazing entertaining ISS International camp @ pulau ubin!!

ISS International camp rocks! i was still having doubts and a teeny weeny bit of reluctance and fear before going for the camp..(its a pre-camp phobia/syndrome I always get) what can i say...i can only thank god that i went! it was fun fun fun and more fun! entertaining and more entertainment! an eye opener for me..to experience the different nationalities and cultures they present..their different characteristics and lifestyles in a short 3D2N..the best thing is i get to earn $300 for this trip for facilitating..where can you find such a great deal! Well nothing beats having eye candies..whereever you go..whatever you do! at least for fanny neo..this is nothing that she will miss..and here's her ISS camp eye candy no. 1...

The camp is really very memorable and has many learning points along the way..got to know nice people like nicole and colin..and very knowledgeable persons like uncle daniel (colin's dad).it's so incredible tt dad and son can work together so well..have such a common interest! by the way colin is 42..so we can roughly work out uncle daniel's age...and by another way..hez still into trekking!!!wooowww colin once told me that it's really very intriguing to see all of them grow up..to witness their growth in a short time frame of maybe 6 months..they can grow really fast and turn into another different lookin person totally! i would love to see it with my own eyes..so i would really love to join another of this kinda camp..of coz..with the incentive as well!heh heh heh

Early this morning I picked myself up and dragged myself to wash up and cannot be late to go to the airport!! timah's leaving for canada today...this morning...huini and i forced her for very long and she finally revealed her departure time!!yyyaayyyy!!!!gotta reach the airport at 9am coz her flight's at 11am.. in the end dad gave me a lift to the yishun busstop and i took a very fast 45 min bus ride to changi airport!due to traffic jam..i reached at 920am instead..BUT huini is more outrageous!! she reached at 950am! initially i thought i was gonna get it frm her..but nvm..it's rare that i get to be first..haha and while waiting for her..i bought tidbits from NTUC @ the airport!!haha

We went to look for peixuan immediately aft huini arrived...met her and talked for a while..then we took a pic and she left...the feeling then..i couldnt describe it..it was like..i had so much to say..bt i duno how to spell it all out..with so little time and so much to say..the words just jammed and everything was swallowed back into me..i guess the time we met and talked and took pic and she left..everything happened so fast there is no time for any reaction or time to tink abt anything..aft she left..i just realised so many things..realised that we only took ONE pic with her..that we didnt tk so many neoprints with her as planned..

huini and i wanted to eat at popeyechicken..bt its opened like only at 11am..in the end..huini compromised and we had BK breakfast! yummy yum yum...bt i really duno why she dun like it..huini's wierd..haha we had a lot to talk on our way back...as usual..abt stupid crap stuffs..bt ironically the stupid crappy things are not totally redundant..they actually mean serious stuffs...well..huini can get quite excited when we touch on "kinky" topics..haha and she couldnt stop laughing..it was quite a hilarious sight!haha a pity i have tut frm 12-2..else i can go shopping with her at bugis..and buy her webcam with her too..

anyway..was so late for tut i took a cab down frm buona vista and spent $4.60!!and i was still late!!fack~ but dad was sweet...he waited for me and fetched me home...i was like hungry hippo and started feasting on tidbits cereals and chestnuts once i reached home..till ard 5 den went to fetch mum and aunt jasmine..had dinner and we went to visit jan and baby joie!!!shez super duper cutie pie...its so amazing..to see the resemblance between her and her parents!she's so adorable!i could feel the joy that she brought along..i'm gonna love this niece to bits and pieces!!muacks~ gonna visit her again when she goes home tmr afternoon!! yiiiiipppeeeeee:)

KR bash & zouk-ing with girlfriends~

Met peixuan and jingle at douby gaut and took a cab down to The Butter Factory at MS for KR hall bash. Went there to support Elaine!and Martin too!!they look fabulous yesterday!! And my F3!!!He is SO SHUAI!!!!!!*drool* A pity my lousy camera cannot capture a clear picture of them. Even with flash.. still as dark and blur..tat is right man..my camera sucks! time to change a new one..ahha Need lots of Vitamin M for that..haha

We were late coz Jingle was late and I was later..met them at PS at around 915.. BUT the thing sucks la..We hafta queue even after we reached and were late. Elaine's bf (ben) came to pick us and walk us to the place as we didnt know the way there. He looked bored and black face later on.

The bash was quite boring.. I could tell that Jingle and Peixuan were quite bored.. It was a very hall concept party.. Even an ex-Kentridgian like me felt bored too..ok..even a 3 yr kentridgian like Tat felt bored..haha the pageant contestants were out for 2 rounds of questions and catwalks then the thing ended. And Butter Factory is damn small..and the drink is super diluted..I had cranberry Vodka and it tasted like Cranberry juice! OH..and ben seemed kinda angry during the whole preview. He sat at 1 corner and smoked. Didnt smile the whole night until we left then he gave a very reluctant smile to bid farewell. Hope they didnt quarrel though I think they most prob did..

Saw Jinrui and Peichoo and we took nice pics! then peixuan and I stood on the chairs!! and shouted and cheered loudly for elaine!!and i cheered for martin and my f3!!my f3 is such a cool dancer!!he rocks~ wait till i grab the preview pics..heheeee


Anyway immediately after the 2 rounds of pageant preview we met elaine and i met tat and sweeyong and took pics then we left..ard 1045.

After that we walked to Double0 and had free drinks!! I had a tequila sunrise, a vodka redbull and a tequila shot! That was quite enough coz I had bad experience..scared nobody is able to carry me back!ahha Jingle joined us for a while then left to catch the last train home.

Bumped into pegs and Pie Ling before we took a cab down to zouk~ Had lots of fun partying with girlfriends @ zouk! Peg's friend, Calvin brought us in and saved us the queuing time. Peixuan is such a dearie..she treated me vodka redbull again! I tink i am in love with vodka redbull..heh nice drink! I tink she is more..coz she bought a JUG afterwards..and downed most of it..We went to phuture and danced the night off..Peg's German guy friend joined us for a while.Peixuan thought he was quite loser..haha and he danced funnily. Pegs said he looked like Zidane..though i dun like Zidane..I felt that was quite an insult..haha Later saw Charmaine. She was with the Calvin guy. Towards the end she was dancing with us. I danced till I was so tired..My legs didnt feel like mine..Felt so numb man! Lao le..:(

We left at ard 330am. Peixuan wanted to stay longer to DRINK. Pegs felt that she didnt DANCE enough. Pie Ling and I were quite tired..haha Pie Ling stays in AMK, peixuan in YCK, pegs yishun and me sem..so we shared a cab back and each paid only $6.50!!good good~ so yesterday plus the bash tix only spent $16.50!! PRO! Must save more money for my bangkok trip in the sept hols!!! yayyyyyy =)

i think i've been slacking at home too much..i'm starting to like the feeling of being alone..isolation..i think i have aged..i like to shop alone..watch tv alone..eat at home alone..do everything alone..i even thought of tanning alone..

i'm addicted to mj..quite severely..played 14 hours straight on 8aug..felt SHIOK!! craving for more of that..i should go grab a rich guy and enjoy mj for the rest of my life!! How nice if everything in life goes the way i like..think that's what everyone hopes for. sometimes i just want the easy way out..actually always..i think i'm stagnant..i cant think anymore..don't feel like straining my brain cells anymore..i should just break up with my studies and marry mj! =p
