from nothing to something

i've found my travel buddy!

andrea alexis chuah chia yin ~ ah yin!

from planning canada trip & exploring New York,

to discussing New Zealand and targeting Melbourne.

and NOW!

creating our own travel portfolio :)

*our December holiday*

first we thought of places we could go.

only nearby ones, coz we are on budget and I don't have many leaves.

then we shortlisted Indo & M'sia truly asia.

bali was too ex, bintan & batam too common.

genting, cameron, penang is out.

borneo is out of hand.

there is really no where to go :(

and ah yin is demanding.

she wants scenic view, nice food, ok beach, can do without shopping.

aft using the elimination method our final decision is..

*drum roll*

- Uniquely Singapore -

we settled for Bright Hill Villa in Singapore (^0^)\/
accomodation is free, we can save on air tix.

and all thanks to our creative minds, our craves and uniquely singapore website,

we managed to google very interesting places and started our holiday plans.

here is a summary of what has come to mind:

it was an exciting discussion - made us tremble, laugh and smile to ourselves vigorously in office!

when we finally decided on the destination and travel plans, we realised how awesome we were!

more updates nearer to the date! :)
who says we will be deprived of holidays once we step into the corporate world?

october flashbacks

- peektures -

let's start from ling's birthday celebration in early Oct.

was really planning a surprise party for her.

she wasnt free on her birthday (poor her having test).

so can only target 1st oct - holiday :)

ended up she went to collect her birthday cake. haha.

i'm a bad baddd planner. oops!

just 1 week later,

we were all excited about weiming & amy's wedding - 10 Oct

all of us greenhorns sat at the reception to help out.

didnt really work out the way we thought initially,

but a fun process to continue with :p

met lots of familiar faces, who have changed overtime.

identified a number of unfamiliar relatives..

and most imptly, was drowned by smiles and laughters throughout the night!

following up closely is mum & thong yi's birthday celebration - 18 Oct.

worked together with the Oh brothers to fix a nice party.

food was great, the crowd was entertaining, and the evening was awesome!

how can we forget to cam-whore~

and here comes the actual day feast at crystal jade JP.

I, especially was the most satisfied. haha

don't we just love exercising our facial muscle? :)

october is a month of celebrations!
i love*
i hope november and december will be as interesting :)
but november is a dry month - no holiday :(

and mum & dad will be holidaying for a week.

*extreme sadness*
i might be bored to death...

goodnight for now.

shall conserve my energy to self-entertain.

long weekends rock.

met huini for dinner and exchanges of updates and gossips.
back from 3 rounds of exciting mahjong!
lost 28 bucks.
earned myself a mac breakfast.
hitched a ride home.
what an awesome night.

finally made a trip to HK.

my must-do since 3 years ago.

i want to make it an annual affair.
