had my long awaited food trail with ah yin today.
awesome awesome awesome!
it started with A LOT of food at lao beijing.
followed by a lot of fooT from Novena through orchard, finally at beach road.
walked our way back to town and bus-ed to United Sq starbucks for a closure.
it was 5 hrs of walk? and a bucket full of fun!
looking forward to our food/foot trail Season 2!

And I really am dying to upload my pictures!

just got my touch baby (still v.much in love)

and i am thinking of nokia darling..

thinking of getting a simple, sleek, cheap phone - nokia 6600 slide.

was deciding between this and 6210 navigator.

i like navigator's colour!

but it's heavier, thicker,

doesnt seem as good.

shall settle for N6600! :)

arriving in early Dec,

i finally celebrated halloween!
not at zouk, not at clarke quay, but at home!
the elderly mindset has conquered me - really dread crowd :S
to start off the night, met up with mingjie for dinner!
headed for japanese food at tonkichi :)

dinner totally filled me to the brim.
mingjie was sweeet. she gave me loads of chocolates - my treat! no trick :)

back home - the war begins!
it was mad house!

we have AVP going on.

the chinese kung fu mistresses showing off their powers!

finally monkeys eating mac bfast -_-

everything ended so nicely.

halloween just come and left.

nxt day was a normal sat.

but with the great company of abnormally awesome ling, things are different!

we embarked on our toa payoh hdb hub shopping.

turned out to be en educational food trail discovery - pleasant surprise!

macarons & Otello!

and it was library aft trying all the flavours in the display fridge.

and more of en en & wen wen!

finally on sunday..

candlelit dinner with mel at amk hub foodcourt!

and out of craving and a sudden urge,

we appeared at cheeky choc for waffles!

and my weekend was gone.

to discussing New Zealand and targeting Melbourne.

and NOW!

creating our own travel portfolio :)

*our December holiday*

first we thought of places we could go.

only nearby ones, coz we are on budget and I don't have many leaves.

then we shortlisted Indo & M'sia truly asia.

bali was too ex, bintan & batam too common.

genting, cameron, penang is out.

borneo is out of hand.

there is really no where to go :(

and ah yin is demanding.

she wants scenic view, nice food, ok beach, can do without shopping.

aft using the elimination method our final decision is..

- Uniquely Singapore -

we settled for Bright Hill Villa in Singapore (^0^)\/
accomodation is free, we can save on air tix.

and all thanks to our creative minds, our craves and uniquely singapore website,

we managed to google very interesting places and started our holiday plans.

here is a summary of what has come to mind:

it was an exciting discussion - made us tremble, laugh and smile to ourselves vigorously in office!

when we finally decided on the destination and travel plans, we realised how awesome we were!

more updates nearer to the date! :)
who says we will be deprived of holidays once we step into the corporate world?

let's start from ling's birthday celebration in early Oct.

was really planning a surprise party for her.

she wasnt free on her birthday (poor her having test).

so can only target 1st oct - holiday :)

ended up she went to collect her birthday cake. haha.

i'm a bad baddd planner. oops!

just 1 week later,

we were all excited about weiming & amy's wedding - 10 Oct

all of us greenhorns sat at the reception to help out.

didnt really work out the way we thought initially,

but a fun process to continue with :p

met lots of familiar faces, who have changed overtime.

identified a number of unfamiliar relatives..

and most imptly, was drowned by smiles and laughters throughout the night!

following up closely is mum & thong yi's birthday celebration - 18 Oct.

worked together with the Oh brothers to fix a nice party.

food was great, the crowd was entertaining, and the evening was awesome!

how can we forget to cam-whore~

and here comes the actual day feast at crystal jade JP.

I, especially was the most satisfied. haha

don't we just love exercising our facial muscle? :)

october is a month of celebrations!

it started off with a hot date with my dearest dear at wine company at dempsey.

we tried white wine that night.

no joke.

it was fruity, sweet, very light taste.

the guy who recommended said 99% of ladies love it.

so i was just wondering if i didnt like it......

right after that was mac for supper.

how sinful..

but how delicious! :)

and it was anchorpoint cum ikea meatballs attack the next day.

everything just went on smoothly..

been on a job for ard 6 mths.
now a couch potato at home.

1 question that has been bugging me for quite some time.
any regrets?
i actually asked myself 1 million times.
couldnt get to any conclusion.

true i met lovely colleagues and had beautiful memories
learnt so much in such a short time
but never have i felt so cheated through and through
so angry so angry..

- some companies are just out to cheat (not a hot favourite in the first place)

lastly, to the b*tch who has been chasing me for compensation, pls take note of your attitude! your pitch, tone, voice is already not pleasant, gotta spend some time to train yourself in terms of interpersonal interaction and communication. Your hell- raising voice and pathetic tele-conversation skills need ultimate brushing up work.

finally!!!

got the chance to settle down and take a gd look at myself.

since i joined RE,

things have been going on..so fast paced!

i totally lost track of what was going on.

everyday was work - home - work.

fanny = no life

then i became less workaholic.

this week is good.

GREAT in fact!

so far i've had dinner at home almost everyday :)

thursday was an exciting day!

attended albert & doris' solemnisation at ROM.

my heart nearly dropped out of my mouth,

coz i waited for more than half an hr for a stupid cab!

cab drivers despise sembawang i think..

and when i finally got 1..

it was 1340..

when the ceremony was supposed to start at 1400 *faint*

but luckily the cab uncle was not the turtle kind of driver..

reached there ard 1410..

just in time to witness the signing of the papers :)

everything was so sweeet!

it was my first time there.

sort of mountain tortise. haha

what i have to say is..

happy occassions really brighten up one's day!

was almost half dead the day before, foul mood + PMS.

managed to pick myself up on saturday morning for a tanning session!

supposed to meet jaws at 9am,

but she was too dead to meet me! :(

but neh mind..

we met up and made it to the beach!

sentosa has seriously evolved a lot.

there is even tram service to tanjong beach now.

guess how long i haven't been there!

anyway we slept on the beach for quite a while,

at the cool shady spot under the small tree :)

was damn shiok!

coz of constantly nice friendly breeze.

and we realised i was so pinky!

eating strawberry pocky somemore!

and i decided to do free advertisement for pocky! :p

this expression was a little weird.

thought the 2nd shot looke more convincing!:p

everything was so perfect if not for that pervert who spoilt everything :X

the worst thing is pegs & i recognised him!!!!!

i'm officially a dog-friend!

not scared of big dogs anymore! :)

i started feeding him water.

at last!

we managed to make it for a decent lunch at vivo :)

it has been some time..

since we had family outings.

today was exceptionally fun!

went to asian kitchen for a nice filling lunch!

tabs' on jeremy & me!

coz this is supposed to be a father's day treat.

and yups..it's super belated..but better late than never.

our appetiser- jia xiang tofu.

and jeremy ordered dan dan mian.

pork chop fried rice for dad!

chicken chop fried rice for me!

and prawn dumpling la mian for mommy~

actually we ordered a pork&prawn xiao long bao.
but was finished up before i could snap a shot.
all are delicioussss!

and on our way there..
i was trying out a different outlook in the car..

yearning for short hair..

but has phobia..

coz it always turned out to be disastrous when i snap them off! :x
i should just keep them this way. yup. :)

and while waiting for foodie...

i forced my whole family to camwhore with me! :p
dad was quite spontaneous! GREAT~

and later on..everyone got excited!! YAY

met up with ling at marina yesterday.

and we started shopping..& eating..& shopping..& eating..haha

treated ling to imperial xiao long bao (1 of my fav:p)

followed by azabu sabo!

ice cream is a must! :)

went for a job interview halfway before meeting ling again..

it's a HR job at Jurong..

really freaking far away..

i only hope for 2 results..

they either offer me a high pay or super low pay..

high pay to let me want to work there..

or super low pay to give me an excuse to give up the job. haha

anyway..met ling again after the interview..

and we got addicted on our fav food hunting again..

supposed to be a window shopping outing..

turned out to be shopping..

then eventually turned out to be food trail..

we are just cursed!

will never get out of touch with food..haha

but the food hunt was fantastic!

we did it!!!!!!!!

without much consideration and further hesitation..

we boarded superstar aquarius! :)

and we were so glad we did so!

after a bad experience from libra,

we kinda decided to just settle for virgo forever.

but we discovered aquarius!

leaving singapore on the 16th..

so we decided to catch it before it will be gone gone gone!

and we embarked on the 15th! :p

great move + smart choice.

the restaurant named- The Dynasty.
it's really quite different frm virgo coz it has buffet styled appetizer..
and it's no ordinary appetizer..
there is a abalone look-alike & taste-alike, yummy prawns with seafood sauce & scallop..

well..the layout & design might not be as class as virgo,
but definitely a fantastic effort!
and is greatly appreciated..
seriously unlike libra..

not only the appetizers..
the main course is equally attractive!
scallop soup, sweet&sour fish, black pepper porkchop..etc etc
unforgettably delicious~

and i won $400 this trip!

after we fly each other's aeroplane for so many times..

it's like a sensor thing which is in the form of a monkey..
this monkey is supposed to start spinning whenever my phone rings or i receive a msg..
however..due to duno what circumstances..
it tends to be faulty..most of the time..
but i love it nonetheless! :)

and i started my tuesday shopping with shirlene early in the morn! :)

actually i only wanted to get presents for my cuz & dad..

plainly shopping for presents..

but everyone shd have guessed it..

i got stuffs for ME!

also, eyed many more items for ME too :p

i was supposed to meet shirl after her advanced theory test..

so i went to town alone first..

first shop i went into was forever21..

surprisingly i didnt spot anything to my liking..

so i walked on to bodyshop..

wanted to get this body lotion & showerbath for min's v.v.belated birthday gift..

but decided to wait for lili's bodyshop card for discount! heh

met shirl aft this & went to perlini silver to get a plain necklace for the 2 charms i got in aust!

super shiok coz they are having storewide 50% for ALL necklaces and bracelets!

i had to control myself and suppress all desires to get more stuffs..

and aft that..

went to gulp my long-desired mango cheesecake ice cream frm orange julius!

followed by pull & bear..

where i spoted this green tee which i loved a lot..

and i'm sure gonna get it!

my whole family was so looking forward to superstar libra..

especially ME!

after an exciting gold coast trip..

still craving for more holidays..

drop all my hopes onto libra..

but it was a total flop!

don't be deceived by these pictures i took..

it's camera effects! :p

i dunno why but the pictures came out much brighter!

in actual situation.

the room is like a prison cell.

the tv in the room is a sony pc monitor all squeezed to 1 corner.

the lobby is in a werid layout..

so weird i didnt know how to describe it..

the casino is pathetic..

the jackpot machines are all mute and pale..

and you must slot in all the coins MANUALLY! :S

there is only ONE $50 blackjack table,

which was overly overcrowded.

and the majority rest were baccarat..

with min bet of eh...$200? $300?

INSANE!

i feel so compressed in it..

the ceiling is so low my bro can touch it when he was sitting down!

imagine the limited area..

plus the smokers all over the place..

we really felt extremely suffocated!

the show was crap!

anyway most of the time we were blocked.

by big heads in front of us & pillars stationed all over the lounge.

all thanks to the ingenius designs!

there were only 2 small jacuzzis..

and this was when i started thinking..

i think the 1 in our gold coast's apartment looked much more attractive.
